Wheels up again! Atlanta bound for the 4th!

Me and the kiddos were home from Saturday to Saturday...then back to the airport for a fun weekend to Atlanta!  We were off to visit Rah-Rah and Harry and see daddy (working in Atlanta) for a couple days!

Drew grew up (like 3 years) this summer and was such a huge help at the airport.  He helped me move the stroller, a large suitcase, two car seats and Reesie to the ticketing counter.  He was such a big boy and loved being mom's #1 guy.  I swear he could get from the parking garage to the gate all by himself.  He learned a lot about looking for signs!

We've got our tickets!
Ronda and Harry rented a van for us (which was PERFECT!), Ronda picked us up on Saturday morning and by 1pm we were already at the pool!

BIG JUMPS!

Reese LOVED the splash pad!!!!!

Oh, hey guys- I'm over here at the splash pad again.

Hey Rah-Rah... can you play with me in the splash pad??
Ronda and Harry really did go ALL OUT!  They had prepped the house with toys -- Cars, puzzles, blocks, coloring books.. you name it.  The kids had a great time in the basement playing and watching movies!

That first night Ronnie was able to come over for dinner.  We fed the kids early (they had stocked up on all the kids' favorites) then Harry grilled steaks and we had an amazing meal with awesome wine!
Hey - let's watch Harry grill in our jammies!

Look at that smoker!
Back to the pool!  Everyone's favorite place!  So quick side story... Ronda has this AMAZING Mickey Mouse room in her house (which is now "Drew's room") and she had a very old-school metal Mickey lunch box in there.  She thought it would be fun to pack lunch in it for the kids at the pool.  But while we were all getting ready upstairs, Drew decided to put an entire bag of Oreo cookies in the lunch box!  So don't be fooled... there aren't any sandwiches, carrots or grapes in there... COOKIES ONLY. HA!

One morning I had to run to Walgreens to get a couple things I had forgotten and ran across these giant pool floats (which a lot of the "big kids" had at the pool the day before).  Of course I had to get one so we could bring our own!

Fortunately we only had 1 rainy day!  So what should we do???  STARBUCKS and NAILS!

YUMMMMMM.

"I'll have the caffeine free frap with whipped cream please"

Early on when we booked this trip Ronda said "I really want to take Reese to get her nails done for the first time!"  And of course -- it was the perfect event for two princesses!  Reese sat SO still and loved every minute of getting her little toes and finger nails painted.  I couldn't believe her patience and then she was SO PROUD of them!

"Hey Rah-Rah - do you like this color?"
We were also able to sneak over and see Ronnie at a game.  Drew thought it was pretty cool watching the big boys play at this tournament!

A great time was had by all!  See you next year for the 4th, Atlanta!  Love you Rah-Rah and Harry!
