And the fun continues! Iowa State Men's Bball was playing in Orlando at a tournament the day / weekend after Thanksgiving, so OF COURSE we had to go! Grandpa Butcher and Connie had booked their trip and we were all set to watch the tournament together!
We got a room at the Gaylord Palms where the team was staying and spend the weekend there! Once we learned that ISU would be taking on the University of Miami (Ron's almamater) we of course had to invite Grandma and Grandpa Merrill to watch a game with us! Let's just say there wasn't nearly as much Green and Orange at the game as there was Red and Gold ;-)

The Gaylord Palms has such fun things to do for kids in the "winter" -- Drew slid down a big hill of fake snow and threw fake snowballs... I guess it was a little bit of an alternative to an Iowa winter... sorta.........
