5 years since "I do"!

Ok, so following the BroadSoft Connections conference (this year in November in San Antonio) I zoomed back from the conference, packed - repacked and we all headed to the SandPearl for our 5 yr Anniversary!  I would say this was "Disconnections", following the biggest, most productive work conference I go to all year for my business.  It was a much needed break from reality for me -- and as a family we all had a beautiful time.

We were super lucky and got upgraded to a GIANT suite!  The room we had at the SandPearl for our wedding was NOTHING compared to the palace they put us in for our 5 yr.  In fact, it was so awesome that we added another night to our stay :-)

The first day we spent with the kids at the beach and pool, then the following day grandma and grandpa merrill to the rescue!  They came over and had lunch and hung out with us at the beach for awhile.  Then off with the kids and Ronnie and I enjoyed a couple days to ourselves.

I really can't believe how time has flown by.  We have been married for 5 years -- feels like 15 (not sure if that is good or bad?!) but the most amazing experiences of my life have happened in these 5 years.  Starting a family with someone special and seeing these two amazing kids come in to the world has proven to be the meaning of happiness for me.

Here are some pics from our Connections... and then "Disconnections"!
Raquel and I en route to Connections.  Not sure what I would do without her!  XOXO!

Now... time for DISCONNECTIONS!  You can't see the beach in the background, but this was a shot from our balcony at the SandPearl.  It was an AMAZING VIEW!

We went to dinner at the same place we had our rehersal dinner at, the Palm Pavilion.

This chic LOVED her some Gator Bites!

The beach can really take it out of you.  Drew fell asleep on me at dinner at 6pm!
 Day 2.....

Kids are buy-bye... time to celebrate!  The weather was ABSOLUTELY gorgeous.  Ronnie and I had such a wonderful celebrating us.

5 years in the books!  And many more to come!
