A new kind of New Year

NYE.  Well, et's just say we were celebrating at midnight and part of the celebration was that Drew was sleeping and not celebrating with us!   He was having his own little party in his crib and it involved him and his blankie.  Hahah... 

This year we decided to stay at the house and have a get together with some old friends (Amanda and Bryan Buffinton  and Raquel) and some new neighbor friends that we met this fall.  The little neighborhood in our subdivision is called Hampton on the Green, so naturally we were having a HOG party!

At one point there were 3 sleeping babies upstairs all in separate bedrooms.  Christy and Noah's little guy Hunter, Amanda and Bryan's Bennett and Drew.  If Gigi and Michael would have brought their peanut it would have been 4.  CRAZY! 

Hunter and Drew were wearing the exact same thing!  Double Trouble!

 Noah decided to liven the party up by bringing a mason jar filled with Applepie Moonshine... this stuff was DANGEROUSLY GOOD!

It has been lots of fun getting to know both neighbor couples and I am so happy that we have some new friends out here!  With Ronnie's travel season about to kick-in, it will be nice to have some other young couples with kids nearby to hang out with. 

Also very thankful for the 'old' friends.  This was our 4 Annual NYE celebration with the Buffs...love these guys to pieces.  We got married within a month of each other and had babies within a month of each other.  They are such awesome lifelong friends.

And Raquel -- well, it's not a party until she arrives.  Love her to pieces and so glad she came out to bring the new year in with us.  Drew LOVES his Titti Raquel... she always gets him laughing and talking hysterically.  They have their own little language :-)

2014 is gonna really have to step up it's game to even come close to comparing to 2013.  I was a year of many blessings, great memories and life lessons!
