Stats 'n' Stuff:
Weight: 22lbs - ish..
Height: 30 1/2 inches
Hair: BLONDE AS EVER.
The Schedule:
7:30-8am -- This little monkey is up... STANDING UP in the crib.
8am -- eat breakfast: blueberries, Cheerrios, maybe some banana and 6 oz of milk
9am -- head to the gym with daddy! There is a great little play area at the gym for kids so Ronnie drops him off there while he gets his workout in.
10:30 -- nap time!
12 -- lunch: whatever people food we have around and sometimes some baby oat meal. This guy doesn't turn much down, he is a good eater!
Sometime between 2-4pm he goes down for his afternoon nap. Duration is still unpredictable... could be 40 minutes or it could be 90 minutes. Oh, and he will suck down another 6oz bottle in there somewhere too
6pm - Dinner. He eats little bites of whatever we are eating.
7:30-8pm: an 8 oz bottle and bedtime...
8pm-5 or 6am SLEEEEEEEEEEP!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! We are very excited about this :) And even after he wakes up at 5 or 6 he eats 6 oz then back to sleep until 8.
new stuff:
We are ON THE MOVE! He started crawling and pulling up on EVERYTHING this month. I think out trip back to Iowa for Christmas advanced this stage by about 3 weeks. He was barely crawling and getting around when we left -but by the time we got home he was really moving around good. Needless to say....we have officially begun the baby-proofing stage.
High 5! He loves to show off all of his tricks whenever he has an audience.
Favorite things to do:
Crawling over to Sammy's food and water bowls and DUMPING them.
Pulling up on every and any piece of furniture he can find.
Eat! He is a really good eater -- tries everything and would rather feed himself then be fed with a spoon. BIG BOY!
Things he does NOT like to do:
Nothing on the list this month - he is a happy guy!
Things he has learned
Big Milestones this month were crawling and pulling up.
Things mommy has learned:
Making the transition from always carrying him around to letting him get places on his own has been new and fun. He likes to be put down and to explore and if I can set him down in a spot where he can't get in to too much trouble, it is a nice break! Lugging around a 22lb kid isn't easy!
Here are some of our favorite pics from the month:
