Christmas 2015: Holiday Travel - gotta love it!

Yes, we are over halfway through January and I am just getting to these posts...

There are so many great memories and pictures of our Christmas celebrations this year, it's a little overwhelming to even get started!

But I'll start with our flight out.  We arrived to Omaha on time... with two kids, one mommy, one daddy and ZERO BAGS, down a carseat and missing a stroller.  Good times travling during the holidays!

We flew Southwest (it was a long story how they lost our bags), but the ended up delivering everything by noon on Christmas Eve Day... with all 4 bags soaking wet!  Everything was left out on the tarmak in Chicago in the pouring rain.  No fun - but at least we got everything back!  I'm still taking this all up with the airline.. so far we have a few travel vouchers out of the deal!

Here are some fun pics from Day 1:

We flew out on Reese's 5 month birthday, so we decided to do a 5 mo. birthday photo shoot at the Tampa airport before we took off.  She was the center of attention of about all 200 passengers on our flight!

Such a happy girl sitting on daddy's lap!
 My two boys snoozin'....
Oh, hi Reese!  Why are you wearing a different outfit???  Oh -- that's right, we had poopy blowout on the decent!
You might be wondering what in the heck she is in... well, that's that the loaner carseats from Southwest Airlines look like! She actually really like it... slept the entire way from Omaha to Holstein!
"Oh, hi Mr. FedEx! Have I told you that I love you????"  (note the weather in the background... he got these bags, the stroller and carseat to us even in some not so great conditions)
Yep... this is how our stuff arrived.  Completely soaked, damaged packages, you name it.   I could ring water out of my clothes it was that bad!
This is one of my all time favorite pictures -- look at this beautiful little snow bunny on her first Christmas!

Stay tuned... many more Mommy Merrill Christmas 2015 Tales to come!
