How in the world is it possible that is has been 3 years since Drew was born??? So unbelievable to me. This was the first year that we decided to do a "friends" party since we have some many families in the neighborhood with young kids... and they are all good buddies.
So... Drew's birthday celebration started on Sunday March 6th at the Hunter's Green park. It was all of his buds from Hunters Green, plus Bennett Buffinton (Amanda and Bryan's little guy), grandma and grandpa Merrill, Titi and Hernando and Steph (his fave sitter and part-time nanny).
The party at the park was from 10am-12pm -- the kids had a great time playing in the park, eating pizza and of course having some birthday cake! It was a Paw Patrol theme, since that has been Drew's favorite cartoon in recent weeks ;-)

So this picture (above) is of Drew and Gavin, our neighbor 2 doors down. Gavin is 11 and Drew looks up to him so much! It was so special that he sat next to Drew to eat his pizza :-)

After the party we went home and "attempted" to take a nap. But Drew was way too excited! So Grandma and Grandpa Merrill came over and we opened up all of the gifts from the party.

The Paw Patrol Paw-ty was super fun! His actual birthday was on Wednesday and on Tuesday afternoon I got a call from Aunt Rah-Rah that she was going to be in town for business. Come on over!!!!!

Wednesday morning the birthday boy got to open a few more presents! Grandma Lori, The Webers and one from mommy and daddy. This guy was in HEAVEN!

That night we had a package on our front door from Grandpa Butcher - Drew's first t-ball helmet! Of COURSE we had to try it out :-)
On Saturday, Grandma and Grandpa Merrill had a super fun party for Drew! Aunt Steph and Ellie were in town so fun was had by all!
Another round of birthday cake and candles - WHY NOT???!!!!
