This one's for you, Wendy!

Hello from Florida and the future Mommy Merrill! 

Wendy has been telling me I need to do this blogging thing and that it will make my life so much easier down the road... documenting photos, stories and all good family stuff once baby comes, so I'm going to give it a whirl!  I can't believe I got this setup.. wow - STEP 1 -- CHECK! 


Tales from this weekend are that I returned from a business trip on Friday, got caught up on laundry on Saturday, attended RCIA class on Sunday and had Ronnie's parents and sister over for lunch yesterday.  I'm officially getting into 'nesting mode'  - want nothing more then to hang out at the house, read my baby book (which is extemely intimidating) and get all the odd-ball projects done around the house before baby comes.  Since we moved into our house in late June we still have lots of little stuff to do.. including getting the baby room done!

Oh, and I am wearing maternity 'stretchy pants' for the first time.  LOVE THEM.  It's gonna be a great next 4 months!

And speaking of stretchy pants...

Thanks to Wendy  and her Pinterest searching skills I now have a vision (below)!  Since we don't know if it will be a boy or a girl - replace the pink with yellow :-)

That's all for now...we have our next appointment next week, can't believe I am just a couple weeks from my 3rd trimester. Feel so blessed that things have gone so well so far!

Ok.. I think once I successfully post this I will have STEP 2 done, which is to actually POST something!  HA!
