Cousin Ellie!

On January 20th 2016 Miss Ellie Minier joined the world!  she is the first cousin that Drew has in Ronnie's side and Aunt Katie couldn't wait to get her hands in her! 

Since it is Ronnie's busy season - I took a solo trip to DC to visit Steph, Jimmy and their little princess and Grandma and Grandpa Merrill kept our little angels for the weekend.

It was a balmy 15 degrees while I was there so we spent lots of time snuggling indoors! 

She is such a little cutie :-)

I was there over Valentines Day weekend, so on Saturday night we all got dressed up and went to dinner.  I got the honor of being there for Ellie's first dinner outing!  I tried to get mommy and daddy to go out just the two of them but they weren't having it :-). We all went to this little Italian spot near their house - it was perfect!

Such a little angel!  She slept right through dinner!

I had a great time seeing the Miniers and meeting Ellie.  She is such a little sweetie!

Where this past month went is BEYOND ME!   February 2016, the 7th month of Reese's life was here and gone in a snap!

Stats 'n' Stuff:

Weight:   Pretty sure 20+ 

Height:  28 +

Eyes: They keep getting bluer!

Hair: Blonde -- pretty much WHITE

Sleeping habits:  
 - Daytime:  She usually takes a morning nap (duration is unpredicatble), and an afternoon nap that can last anywhere from 30-90 min.  She also likes to take a 15-20min. catnap between 5-6pm.   
 - Nighttime   She goes down between 8-9, wakes up sometimes around 2-3am (usually we can bounce her back to sleep) then wakes up around 5 to eat and back to sleep until 7 or 8.  Funny because I ready Drew's 7 mo. report and it was EXACTLY THE SAME!  


new stuff:  She is sitting up like a STAR!  She also gets up on her hands and knees in the crawling position.  It won't be long and this little princess will be zooming around! 



Favorite things to do: Smiling and giggling.  She loves to watch Drew and just giggles at him all the time.  It makes my hear smile watching the two of them together.  


Things she does NOT like to do: 
She doesn't like to be hungry!  


Things she has learned:  She has learned how to sit up, how to get into the crawling position, and we just started putting puffs in front of her!  I'm sure it won't be long and she will be shoveling those things in!  




Things mommy has learned: TIME FLIES!  This month was so busy (took a trip to DC and a Disney Cruise).
